What is Fiancé Visa?
If you are planning to come and live with your partner in the UK who is either UK National or settled in the UK you may be eligible to enter and stay UK for up to 6 months on Fiace Visa. This allows you to come to the UK and get married or enter into civil partnership with you partner. You must apply for another immigration status before your fiancé visa expires. The easy and simple way is to apply for spouse visa which is normally a 5 years route to settlement.
Who is eligible for a UK Fiancé Visa?
To be eligible for Fiancé Visa, you and your partner must meet certain requirements, which are;
• Both you and your partner must be at least 18-years-old.
• You and your partner must plan to get married within six months period of your fiancé visa.
• Your partner must either be a UK citizen or settled person.
• You need to show that you/your partner have suitable accommodation to live in.
• If you are from a non-English speaking country, you must pass a certain level of English test.
• You must need to demonstrate that you have enough means to support yourself without becoming a financial burden on public funds.
